Rich & Rhonda Dormire of Macomb, have opened their new business, R & R Dream Homes, LLC a full service residential construction company.  Rich & Rhonda Dormire purchased the former A.T. Homes business from Allan Patch.

 

Rich and Rhonda, owners and builder bring over 25 years of residential construction history to the business.  Rich has been around construction of some sort all of his life.  Starting with livestock confinement buildings, grain storage, and machinery storage facilities, he then advanced his own business into focusing on residential construction, roofing, remodeling, and additions in the Mt. Sterling area.  In 1995, he established Prairie Hills Subdivision in a rural setting in Mt. Sterling, with a goal of providing country living in a picturesque environment with as many conveniences of the city as possible.  He developed the subdivision on Route 99 south of Mt. Sterling with several ponds amongst the beautiful green rolling hills.  Currently, several home sites are available and builder-ready with rural water, electric and natural gas service.

 

Allan has remained with the new business in the sales division.  He started the A.T. Homes business in 1995 and brings a great deal of knowledge and history to the home-building business.  Allan says, “I am so happy to have sold my business to someone who will continue the same customer oriented philosophy.  The Dormire's are extremely nice people with a very high degree of integrity. I am pleased to be staying on staff to assist the Dormire's in their business.”

 

Jacob Brown is another member of the sales and marketing staff.  Jacob just returned home a month ago from serving his second tour in Iraq.  He served with the 724th Trans Co. out of Bartonville in ‘04/’05 and with the 656th TC out of Edinburgh, IN during ‘06/’07.  Jacob says he’s “excited about meeting new people and helping them during the building process.”
